About
Erica Arcudi is a painter currently based in her hometown of Raleigh, North Carolina. After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, she moved to Florence, Italy to learn the craft of traditional drawing and oil painting at the Florence Academy of Art. In 2018, Erica joined the academy’s faculty and is currently an Adjunct Professor for the Masters of Arts in Studio Art program. Her work has been juried into exhibitions in the U.S. and internationally, including the Salmagundi Club in New York City, the Art Renewal Center International Salon, the NC Artists Exhibition, and the Oil Painters of America Eastern Regional Exhibition. Her work is in private collections in the U.S., Europe, and Australia. Always painting from life, she aspires to create timeless works that capture the spirit of her subjects.
